On Shah Rukh Khan’s 53rd birthday, the makers are all set to unveil Zero trailer in a grand launch at IMAX Wadala in Mumbai at 4 pm. After making it further harder to wait for the trailer, Aanand L Rai and SRK will finally release the trailer today in few hours. While the trailer release is few hours away, let’s break down what to expect from this highly-anticipated film. Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio together after 6 years
One interesting fact is that Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio; Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma are coming back together in a film after 6 years. In the Yash Chopra film, Katrina Kaif played the love interest of Shah Rukh Khan and going by the posters, it looks like Kat is once again his ladylove in the upcoming film Zero.

Shah Rukh Khan has portrayed an array of roles in his Bollywood career spanning more than two decades. From a villain to an over-obsessed fan, SRK has done it all. But never had he essayed the role of a physically challenge man in any of his previous Bollywood ventures. Zero is yet another experiment for King Khan who is playing a dwarf name Bauaa Singh in the film.

Seems like there a lot of ‘first times’ latched to the film Zero. While SRK plays dwarf for the first time, Anushka Sharma, who is equally experimental in picking roles, is wheelchair bound in Zero. In the poster shared by Shah Rukh Khan, the Pari actress is sporting a lob haircut and is sitting on an automatically-operated wheelchair.
Mystery around Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif’s relationship
In the poster, Katrina Kaif can be seen bending to kiss dwarf Shah Rukh Khan. This has sparked speculations that the duo must be playing lovers in the Aanand L Rai film. But the caption for Anushka Sharma’s poster also suggests a romantic angle. The question that remains is; who is Bauaa Singh’s love interest in Zero?
Recreated Meerut’s milieus in Zero
As we can already see in the poster of Zero, featuring Katrina Kaif, the makers have recreated Meerut in Mumbai to shoot some segments of the film. It comes to our knowledge that the character Bauaa Singh belongs to Meerut in the film. His official Twitter handle tweets, “Kanpur ki leather jacket, Dilli ke goggle aur Banaras ka gamcha daale jab hum ghar se nikalte hain to Meerut mein aise hi curfew lag jaata hai!”
Last but not the least, the artistic genius Aanand L Rai has donned the director’s hat after 3 years. His last film was Tanu Weds Manu Returns which smashed the box office records. We’ll have to wait for December 21 to see what magic has he cast in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero.
