Zero Box Office Collection Day 9
Shah Rukh Khan's comeback Bollywood film Zero after his last release Jab Harry Met Sejal failed to bring in huge numbers at the box office. While the film opened with good numbers, it witnessed a down trends in the first week and on second Saturday earnd just 1 crore. While big names connected to the film Zero, it was expected to collect 100 crores till the second weekend but after second saturday's collection, Zero stands with Rs 85.95 crores total box office collection. Speaking of Zero's story, it is a complicated love triangle between a vertically challenged man (Shah Rukh Khan), a scientist suffering from cerebral palsy (Anushka Sharma) and an actress battling alcoholism after a heartbreak (Katrina Kaif).
According to the reports in Box Office India, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero minted, "Zero was pretty much flat on Saturday and is not going anywhere with the second weekend collections likely to be in the the 3-4 crore nett range. The collections of Zero till date are as follows......Week One - 84,10,00,000 apprx.....Friday - 85,00,000 apprx.....Saturday - 1,00,00,000 apprx.....TOTAL - 85,95,00,000 apprx"
After the release of the trailer of Zero on SRK's birthday on November 2nd, the film garnered much attention and fans were excited for the film to hit the theaters. However, the film performed below the expectations.
Zero is a romantic comedy film which is based on the life of a vertically-challenged man Bauua Singh, who doesn’t like to commit to anything. He falls in love with scientist Aafia Zaveri Bhinder while his heart still wanted to win over superstar Babita Kumari. Zero is full of lots of drama, emotions and comedy, everything that’s needed to make it a perfect family entertainer.
Made on the budget of around Rs 200 crore, now the question stands will Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero make it up its budget or not. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Rakesh Sharma's biopic Salute.
