Shah Rukh Khan starrer set to cross Rs 50 crore-mark Zero box office collection prediction Day 3
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is back on the big screen to weave the magic of his romance with a unique and interesting love story directed by Aanand L. Rai called Zero. Also starring SRK's Jab Tak Hai Jaan costars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, Zero revolves around the story of Bauua Singh who is vertically challenged but is unapologetic and follows his heart. He dares to dream big in a world that continuously tried to bring him down. The film already had a blasting opening day with the total collection of Rs 20 crores. As the weekdays starts, it is expected to witness a slight downfall but hopefully will be back on track by the coming weekend.
Going by the latest reports by Bollywood critic and Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has earned Rs 59 crores as of yet. He writes, "#Zero has clearly underperformed... Remained on similar levels over the weekend... No turnaround / big jump in biz... #Christmas holiday [tomorrow] should boost biz... Real test on Wed and Thu... Fri 20.14 cr, Sat 18.22 cr, Sun 20.71 cr. Total: ₹ 59.07 cr. India biz."
He also wrote, "#Zero slips on Day 2... Biz should’ve witnessed solid growth on Day 2 after an underwhelming Day 1, but is struggling at the BO... Decline on Day 2 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 9.53%... Fri 20.14 cr, Sat 18.22 cr. Total: ₹ 38.36 cr. India biz."

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's Zero is going to witness tough competition from the upcoming witness to earn number at the box office as Rohit Shetty's film Simmba will hit the screens as well. Starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, the film is a cop drama inspired by Tamil film Temper. The trailer of Simmba has already managed to receive great response from the cinema lovers. Earlier, talking about the film Zero, director Aanand L Rai said, "The film is about incompleteness of any form - be it emotional or physical. But it has nothing to do with happiness.
