New Delhi: Veteran actress Zeenat Aman’s love life has always bagged a lot of attention during her reign in Bollywood. Be it her affair with Sanjay Khan, her marriage with Mazhar Khan, or her confession to be in love at 60, her personal life has always been a topic of discussion.
Once again her love affair is in the news, but this time not because of Zeenat but because of her rumoured ex-boyfriend.
Zeenat Aman's alleged ex-boyfriend, Sarfaraz Ahsan has been accused of cheating an NRI woman of Rs. 3.5 crore.
As per the media reports, Sarfaraz had recently married a Dubai-based bank manager, despite being already married. The victim also alleged that not just he lied of his marital status; he also abused her in order to get money from her.
The victim has filed a complaint at Versova police after which the police arrested Ahsan.
Reportedly, the couple met through a social networking website after which Sarfaraz proposed the NRI woman for marriage.
“After marrying Ahsan, the complainant found out that he is already married. She also accused his mother Asgari and sister Tahira for abetting the crime by lying to her all this while,” a police source said.
The victim has alleged that she had given over Rs. 3.5 crore to Ahsan before she came to know about his cheating after which the family threatened the lady of dire consequences.
“When the victim confronted Ahsan and his family members, they started giving vague answers and also threatened her with dire consequences. Fearing for her life, she approached the Versova police,” said a police source.
Police has booked Sarafaz Ahsan several sections of Indian Penal Code for cheating, extortion, dowry harassment, criminal intimidation, assault and conspiracy and is currently in police custody.
Earlier, Sarafaz Ahsan was rumoured to be dating Zeenat Aman, however, the couple never accepted their relationship in public.
