The entire cast of ‘Dangal’ has been receiving praises for their spectacular performances in the movie. But, this film turned out to be a game changer for little Zaira Wasim who essayed the role of young Geeta Phogat in the film. Zaira’s performance left Aamir spell bounded who casted her in his upcoming home production film ‘Secret Superstar’.

The story of the movie is based on the ambitious girl who wants to make big in the music industry. According to a source, Zaira fulfilled all prerequisite of the script as she is herself a good singer.

This is the first time, Aamir has casted the same actor in two back-to-back films.

An insider revealed that casting director of ‘Dangal’, Mukesh Chhabra suggested Zaira’s name to Aamir who was confident that the girl was an awesome actor. The actor then auditioned her and made Zaira the part of his project.

‘Secret Superstar’ is directed by debutant director Advait Chandan. In it, Aamir will also been seen in a cameo appearance. The movie is slated to release on August 4. This will be the first time Aamir’s two films will release within a gap of just 8 months.

Aamir’s latest film ‘Dangal’ releases today. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it is based on the story of Mahavir Singh Phogat. It also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles.
