Filmmaker Karan Johar’s favourite students Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt made their comeback on ‘Koffee With Karan’ yesterday. The duo came to promote their upcoming film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. From spilling beans on relationships to making fun of Alia, the actors along with the host Karan Johar were at their candid best. In an earlier episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’, Varun has already graced the season with his childhood buddy Arjun Kapoor. People were disappointed as they kept their personal life especially relationship status under wraps. This time, Varun targeted his contemporaries and revealed information about their affairs. When Karan asked him what did Tiger Shroff has that he hasn’t? he instantly said Disha Patani. When Sidharth Malhotra’s name came up, he turned towards Alia.
Varun and Alia beautifully completed the challenge where they had to imitate certain actors. The lady showed ‘Shiela Ki Jawani’ steps whereas Varun tried to mimic Hrithik’s dialogue from ‘Kaho Na Pyar Hai’, and completed the task in around 3-4takes.
Varun was at his candid best. While replying to Karan’s instant questions, he said that Ranveer Singh will be arrested for nudity in public and Ranbir Kapoor will get arrested for breaking too many hearts. He also admitted that he wanted to hook up with Shraddha Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Radhika Apte.
During one segment, both the actor left the director in splits. Varun was speechless when he was asked to name three Gujrati dishes and as usual Alia shocked everyone with her senseless reply when she said Kota is in UP. But at the end, the actor won with flying colours.
While responding to the host of the show, Alia revealed that Varun considered Amitabh Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut respectively as their competition, which bound everyone to laugh out loudly.
The next episode of the show will feature Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.
