Superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Tubelight. It is being said that the film will break the records made by filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Bahaubali: The Conclusion but Salman doesn’t agree. The actor revealed the reason he is doubtful of Tubelight surpassing records of Baahubali 2.
During an interview, the superstar revealed that Bahaubali 2 is one of the unusual films that have been made and despite being the dubbed version, Hindi film-goers gave great response to the film. He added that Hindi speaking audience was the major reason behind amazing collection of Baahubali 2. Thus, the actor felt that it is hard for Tubelight to break Baahubali 2 record.
Salman added that he doesn’t feel the pressure as long as nobody losses money. Earlier, actor Vivek Oberoi said that Tubelight has all capabilities to make Indian cinema proud and he wants the film to break record of Prabhas’s film.
Well, it is yet to be seen if Tubelight manages to shatter the records of Baahubali 2. Rajamouli’s film crossed Rs 1500 crore mark worldwide and set new benchmarks for the upcoming films.
Tubelight is set against the backdrop of 1962 Sino-Indian war. The film also features Salman’s brother Sohail Khan and is slated to release on June 23. The film will also hit the screens in Germany.
