Bollywood diva, Disha Patani, has been already making headlines for her phenomenal performance in Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Baaghi 2’ which was a mega blockbuster at the box office. Now it is confirmed that the actress will become a part of another big Bollywood project ‘Bharat’starring Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

Disha Patani is all set to be seen playing the second female lead in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. Rumour Mill has it that actress Shraddha Kapoor was being considered for the part but now Disha Patani will be playing it. Well, this definitely makes a stellar star cast for the film. Disha’s last release Baaghi 2 went on to earn Rs. 165 crore at the box office and Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra are already the formulae for a blockbuster in Bollywood.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to confirm the news saying, "Welcome @DishPatani to the journey of @Bharat_TheFilm @BeingSalmanKhan @priyankachopra"

Spilling the beans about the plot of the movie, director Ali Abbas Zafar earlier told DNA that the story has many historical references as it spans over a period of 70 years. The movie will essay the life of a man who lives through several significant moments from India’s past to present. Buzz also states that Salman will be sporting five different looks for the film.

Priyanka will be teaming up with Salman on the big screen after a gap of 11 years, after their last appearance in "God Tussi Great Ho" in 2008. However, this will be Zafar's third outing with Salman, with whom he has worked in blockbusters "Sultan" and "Tiger Zinda Hai".

Bharat is an Indian adaptation of the Korean movie, Ode to My Father and will be a package of action, drama, and music. The film will go on floors this July and is slated for an Eid 2019 release.
