Actor and stand-up comedian, Kapil Sharma, who has always managed to keep his personal life under wraps, has finally left his fans amazed by introducing his lady love Ginni Chatrath to the world through social media.
But there was time in Kapil Sharma’s life, when he had a serious crush on Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone.
Kapil had many times openly spoken about his crush on Ranveer Singh’s rumoured girlfriend Deepika.
Recently, when Kapil Sharma was invited on Karan Johar’s show, 'Koffee with Karan’, the ‘Kis KisKo Pyar Karu’ actor, on a lighter note admitted his love for Deepika. On the show, Kapil Sharma could not help profess his love for Deepika Padukone.
When Karan asked, Kapil have you ever fallen in love? Kapil said, “Yes many times. Every Year. I have a giant crush on Deepika. But she is out of reach.’’
Karan making fun of Kapil said, but that is a celebrity crush and that does not count. Pat comes Kapil’s reply, ‘’Why am I not a celebrity as well? Am I a rickshaw driver?’’
In another incident from the mega launch of the eighth season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati", Kapil asked the host of the show, Amitabh Bachchan to convey his love message to actress Deepika Padukone.
During the show when Kapil’s single status was questioned, the comedian requested the ‘Pink’ star Amitabh, to please take his proposal to actress Deepika Padukone.
Answering to Amitabh's question, Kapil said, ‘’Would you please be kind enough to take my proposal to actress Deepika Padukone?"
It is worthy to mention here that Kapil has announced his lady love and marriage plans to the world, through his social media account. He wrote a sweet message for Ginni on twitter.
The comedian is all set to marry his long-time girlfriend, Ginni next year in January according to the sources.
Interestingly, Kapil and Ginni, whose (real name is Bhavneet Chatrath), also made a appearance in the comedy show Hans Baliye in 2009. Later, Ginni chose to pursue MBA rather than stand-up comedy.
