Having managed to make a mark for himself on the list of some renowned directors after years of hard work since his debut with ‘Íshaqzaade’, actor Arjun Kapoor will next be seen in Anees Bazmee directorial venture ‘Mubarakan’. The actor recently got candid about his real reason of signing the flick.
In an interview to a leading daily, the actor stated that it was his role of Sardar in the flick that attracted him to say yes to the project. No doubt, the actor has accepted some challenging roles in the past. This time too, he said that he was little nervous when it came to portray the body language and demeanour of the character.
However he has overcome the hurdles and successfully completed the shooting of first schedule.
Arjun will share screen for the first time with his uncle Anil Kapoor in ‘Mubarakan’ and it will be interesting to see if their off-screen camaraderie helps them get better on screen.
Arjun’s last onscreen venture was ‘Ki & Ka’ opposite Kareena Kapoor, in which he played the role of a househusband. The film did well at the box office. ‘Mubarakan’ on the other hand also features Athiya Shetty and Ileana D'Cruz. The film will also have a special appearance of Neha Sharma.
