After making debut opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Anushka Sharma has given some powerful performances alongside many superstars. Her charming personality and brilliant acting has made her one of the most sought after actress of Bollywood. But recently the pretty lady said that her equation with King Khan is extremely special.
Anushka and SRK have been paired for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming movie tentatively titled ‘The Ring’.
Both the actors will share screen space for the third time after Aditya Chopra’s ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and 2012 blockbuster ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. Anushka revealed that she became actress because of Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab We Met’ and also stated that she shares a special equation with Shah Rukh.
The PK actress said, "It's our third film together. I share a very special equation with him because he was my first actor. I am very comfortable with Shah Rukh. Imtiaz is someone whom I've always wanted to work with. Jab We Met is the reason why I have become an actress."
After ‘NH10’, the actress is donning the producer’s hat again for ‘Phillauri’. Talking about the same, the actress stated that it's a big risk as well as in order to save the project from getting affected; it is important to save money.
The Band Baaja Baaraat actress said, "It's difficult. It's a big risk. You know it's not a money generating thing for you, especially when you are a new producer. So, for me and my brother it's just to put the project together. If you are an actor yourself, you are not a liability on it. You are not taking too much money. You have to find means to save money so that the project doesn't get affected.”
Phillauri is Anshai Lal directorial and it stars Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma in prominent roles.
