When it is party tracks then you have to trust Yo Yo Honey Singh. The man who made rap more popular among Indian masses is back after two years of hiatus and if such is the occasion, then it has to be special. Honey Singh has revamped the popular 90s song 'Dil Chori Sadda Ho Gaya' crooned by Hans Raj for the film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Collaborating with T-Series, it is the rapper's gift to his fans on New Year.
The song which has Hindi lyrics and rap along with the original words is a peppy track and the video will give you a feel of Badtameez Dil from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. While Nushrat Barucha is clad in shimmery bright pink saree, Kartika Aaryan and Sunny Singh are looking dapper in black suits. The trio have collaborated again with director Luv Ranjan after the sequel to hit Pyaar Ka Punchama .
Talking about the song, Honey Singh earlier said, ''I am very happy to bring new songs for my fans. I have always appreciated Hans Raj Hans Ji’s work and it was great to remake his song into a Bhangra song with Hindi lyrics. Lots of love to all my fans who waited.” Tweeting the link of his song, Yo Yo wrote, ''Finally your wait is over !! Here's my Bhangra song with Hindi Fusion #DilChori Chak do Phatte !!....''
Honey Singh's last song was Aankhon Aankhon Mein from 2015 flick Bhaag Jhonny and since then we went out of limelight. News of him in rehab and fight with Shah Rukh Khan did rounds and made lot of buzz. However, in an interview last year, Honey Singh revealed the reason behind his absence. He said, ''Nobody knows this, and I wanted to tell the world myself, not through a spokesperson. The last 18 months were the darkest phase of my life, and I wasn’t in a state to talk to anyone. I know there were rumours that I was in rehab, but I was in my Noida house throughout. Truth is, I was suffering from bipolar disorder. It went on for 18 months, during which I changed four doctors, the medication wasn’t working and crazy things were happening.''
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is a youth-centric comedy-drama just like Luv Ranjan's previous movies. The story is about bromance vs romance and is scheduled to release on February 9, 2018.
