Much to the excitement of his fans, superstar Aamir Khan shared the first song of his much awaited film, ‘Dangal’. Titled as ‘Haanikaarak Bapu’, the song portrays Aamir as an adamant father, who ruthlessly trains his daughters for Olympics.
Sharing the first song on Twitter, Aamir wrote, “Here's our chance to get back at our Haanikaarak fathers.”
Aamir, who is essaying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, is seen putting his daughters, Geeta and Babita, to extreme training and hard work in the song. It starts with the actor telling his daughters that both of them will have to lead a wrestler’s life.
Both the daughters were seen asking their mother to save them from ‘wresling’. The young girls’ whim to watch TV was ignored by their stern father in the video. The song also featured Sakshi Tanwar taking care of her daughters.
The song has been sung by Sarwar Khan and Sartaz Khan Barna and composed by Pritam. ‘Haanikaarak Bapu’ clearly talks about the inner feelings of Geeta and Babita in a funny way.
‘Dangal’ is based on the real life story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, it also features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra playing the roles of his daughters Geeta and Babita. The film is slated to release on December 23.
