The duo are behind innumerable successful songs in Bollywood. Vishal-Shekhar rose to prominence when they composed the music for Jhankaar Beats. The music of the movie ruled the charts back then. 

Vishal Dadlani has also made a name for himself as a bankable playback singer for Bollywood. He broke the mould by lending his voice to the title track of Dhoom 2 (Pritam), and since then he has gone on to sing for many composers including Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Amit Trivedi, Clinton Cerejo and Vishal Bharadwaj. When we discuss party songs, Dhan Te Nan always get a special mention in the list. Sung amazingly by Vishal Dadlani and Sukhwinder Singh, this song still rocks the discos and pubs all over. The song from the film Shanghai is unbelievably good. The purity in voice won hearts and the song was, truly magical.
