India’s Test captain Virat Kohli on Friday said that the media reports claiming that he and actress Anushka Sharma are getting engaged anytime soon, is false and misleading.
The cricketer took to his Twitter handle to clear the air and wrote:
“We aren't getting engaged & if we were going to, we wouldn't hide it. Simple,” Virat tweeted.
In another tweet, he said: “Since news channels cant resist selling false rumours & keeping you confused, we are just ending the confusion."
Yesterday, there was a buzz that the cricketer and “PK” actress are set to get engaged after few pictures of them while enjoying holiday in Dehradun had gone viral on social media.
According to reports, Anushka’s grandmother lives in Dehradun and it was reported that this was the reason why couple choose this place for the ceremony.
Reports also claimed that that Amitabh Bachchan and Ambani’s family reached Hotel Ananda in Narendra Nagar where they were welcomed by the lovely couple.`
Virat and Anushka have been dating each other for quite some time. They went through a rough patch but now all is well between the two. The couple was seen making their stylish appearances and dancing their hearts out in Yuvraj’s wedding.
