Actor Varun Dhawan who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Badrinath ki Dulhania’ recently revealed that his hairstyle in the movie was inspired from Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli. When the star player came to know about it, he started teasing Varun that he will soon change his look.
The actor revealed to an entertainment portal that when he asked the director of the flick Shashank Khaitan about Badrinath’s look, he revealed that the character is Virat’s fan. Varun then stated that when he called his stylish to get Virat’s hairstyle, he came to know that the cricketer was there in his salon. He then reached there and got it done by sitting next to him.
Varun said, “I wanted the same look as VK's. And then, we sat on chairs next to each other at the salon and got the same hairdo."
When Varun informed about his character to Virat to which he was amused and teased him that he will change his look before the film gets released. The actor told that Virat said, “Main haircut badal doonga teri film release hone se pehle.”
Not only this, he further stated that he during these months he often gets message from cricketer telling him that he is changing his look.
Varun added, “Films take a while to get made. Over these months, every now and then, I had a message from him saying that he's changing his look.”
Well, apart from his cricket, people are obsessed with Virat’s look. So, how can his charm not work on Varun.
‘Badrinath ki Dulhania’ that features Alia Bhatt opposite Varun is slated to release on March 10.
