Actress Vidya Balan will be soon hosting a special episode of popular crime based show ‘Savdhaan India’ on Life OK. The actress , who is busy promoting her upcoming movie ‘Kahaani 2’, will be doing the show as a part of the promotional activity.
Vidya is quite elated to be a part of the show and feels that there couldn’t be a better platform than 'Savdhaan India' to promote the movie considering that she too plays the role of a ‘wanted’ criminal in ‘Kahaani 2’.
Known for her high-octane performances on the big screen, Vidya will be hosting the show that boasts the tagline - "Darr ke nahi, datt ke". The actress also stated that 'Savdhaan India' is quite successful in spreading awareness about the crime across the country.
“My association with the show is special as I think it is a relevant concept with a message that us the call of the hour, ‘darr ke nahi datt ke'”, Vidya added.
The upcoming crime thriller ‘Kahaani 2 : Durga Rani Singh’, happens to be the sequel of Vidya’s 2012 release ‘Kahani’.
Besides Vidya Balan, the movie will feature Arjun Rampal in key role. Helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, ‘Kahaani 2 : Durga Rani Singh’ is slated to release on December 2.
