Popular actress BV Radha who has featured in more than 250 films in Kannada, Tamil and Telegu films passes away on Sunday due to heart attack. She was 70 years old and was even battling cancer, though she survived the life-threatening disease. Radha was married to late filmmaker-actor KSL Swamy. Her husband asked for his body to be donated to a medical college and so Radha expressed her wish to do the same.
Radha was more than five decades old in the film industry. She began her career in a 1964 film Navaloti Narayana opposite Rajkumar. Radha has emerged from a leading lady to a favourite artiste and has featured with some of the biggest stars including MG Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, NT Rama Rao, Gemini Ganesan, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Jaishankar
