Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been diagnosed with a "mild" pneumonia and advised bed rest. The information was shared on the official Twitter handle of the actor. Earlier, 94-year old actor was admitted to the Mumbai’s Lilawati hospital due to dehydration and kidney-related ailments. The entire Bollywood industry prayed for his recovery.
"Saab was diagnosed with mild pneumonia. He's been advised to rest at home. Allah is kind that all other parameters are showing normal - Saab is doing better now. Pls remember him in your prayers and duas (sic)," a tweet from his official Twitter handle read.
The 94-year-old actor's family friend, Faisal Farooqui, used the Twitter handle to post about the development.
Earlier, many Bollywood celebs including Shah Rukh Khan and Priyank Chopra visited the actor at his residence and spent quality time with him. People beamed with joy when they came to know that the actor is fine and will be discharged.
The actor made his debut with Jwar Bhata in 1944 and then delivered many blockbusters.
