Actor Venkatesh, is super excited about his singing debut for the film 'Guru'. The actor is thrilled as he has made his singing debut for the first time in three decades.
It is worthy to mention here that Venkatesh has turned singer for his upcoming Telugu sports drama ‘Guru’. Venkatesh says he enjoyed the experience even though he doubted his own capability initially.
Venkatesh has made his singing debut with the song ‘Jingidi’ in Santhosh Narayanan's music.
In the song's making video, released on Monday, he said: "I have been acting for 30 years and I wondered why I should sing now. But when I heard the tune, I was so hooked that I decided that I should sing anyway. I thoroughly enjoyed the process."
In the film, Venkatesh plays a washed-up boxing coach who finds a champion in a fish vendor.
‘Guru’ is a remake of Madhavan-starrer ‘Saala Khadoos’, and it's directed by Sudha Kongara who helmed the original as well.
Kick-boxer-turned-actress Ritika Singh plays the lead in the film.
