Bollywood film Veere Di Wedding is doing wonders at the box-office. The movie, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, passed the crucial test on Monday and, earned Rs 6.04 crore. With this latest addition, Veere Di Wedding box-office collection now stands at Rs 42.56 crore on the fourth day of its opening.

The success mantra is set to be not just the real wedding in the recent past, plus the reel content, but also the hyper-active promotional juggernaut that was unleashed to publicise the movie. If that boost is given, there will be no stopping this movie from hitting 50 crore mark and beyond.
Veere Di Wedding, which dethroned Alia Bhatt’s Raazi to storm into the fifth highest opening weekend of 2018, has drawn a lot of interest especially as it is Kareena Kapoor Khan's first film since she became a mother, and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's first movie to release since her wedding. For Swara Bhasker, it is a different zone that she is stepping into and Shikha Talsania is making her debut with the project. The film has been directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
They are cast in a coming-of-age story revolving around the lives of four friends who deal with the trials and tribulations regarding family acceptance, marriage and societal perceptions in the modern-day world. The girls openly talk about their sex lives and hurl abuses.
The film is internationally distributed by Zee Studios International. Apart from India, it released in over 27 countries including Singapore, Australia, the US, South Africa, Canada and Japan. On foreign shores, it registered business of $1 million on the opening day. Veere Di Wedding is co-produced by Rhea, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi.
