The first look of October starring Varun Dhawan is out and, it looks interesting and intriguing all the way. The Shoojit Sircar film is a slice-of-life love story based on the backdrop of Delhi. The makers wrapped shooting in just 38 days in Manali. October first look was released by Varun on social media with a caption that read, “#OctoberFirstLook. October will live with you".
The release date of the film was shared by the Judwaa 2 actor in a unique way. He took to his Twitter handle and shared a calendar comprising on-location pics of the film. Whether it’s Sircar’s favourite bylanes of Delhi or Himachal Pradesh’s lush green landscapes, the video calendar gives us a glimpse of the movie.

Director Shoojit Sircar, who churned out hit movies like Piku and Pink, said, “It is a genre that I have always wanted to delve in. While love and romance have been entwined with Indian cinema, there is abundance in that emotion that everyone can have their own interpretations of. Juhi (Chaturvedi) and I have always tried to create stories from the reflections of real life moments that we see around us. October is another effort to explore those moments out of simple situations of life.”
As per the reports, October is a Delhi-based slice-of-life drama which explores some of the untraded genes of romance. It depicts the love that comes without any expectations in return. The major sequences of the film have been shot in Delhi. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up in just 38 days. It is slated to release on April 13, 2018. So, October is coming a bit earlier this year!
