Actor Varun Dhawan’s last release ‘Dishoom’ is doing good business at the box office. The movie which also features John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez has minted over Rs 50 crores in India since its release on 29th July.
With this numbers the movie is on its way to become one of the biggest hits of 2016. It was said that ‘Dishoom’ will face stiff competition at box office from Salman Khan’s blockbuster ‘Sultan’ and superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’.
However, Varun begs to differ.
At a recent post release press conference, Varun said that his movie’s collections were not dented by Sultan.
“Our collections were not at all affected by Sultan at the Box Office. It has been a month since its release and we got a wide release in India. But one reason which not just affected the collections of Dishoom but also Sultan and Kabali was piracy. We need to fight it out,”
Varun was quoted by a leading daily.
