Makers of Vicky Kaushal's upcoming film Uri: The Surgical Strikes have dropped new song titled Challa and it is oozing nothing less but energy and patriotism. The power-packed song is a rendition of Punjabi folk song but composers have added the patriotic touch to it. The high-octane track has been composed by Shashwat Sachdev and lyrics are penned by Kumaar. The song has been crooned by Romy, Vivek Hariharan and Shashwat Sachdev.
The song is high on emotions and patriotism. The lyrics are catchy and will surely awake the patriotic side of you.
In video of the Uri song, Kaushal, who is playing a commando is seen preparing for the battle. The song shows hardships of soldiers and the tough training they undergo.
Directed by debutant Aditya Dhar, the movie traces 2016 surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army. The movie also stars Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. While Rawal plays the role of NSA Ajit Doval, Kirti is fighter pilot. On the other hand, Yami essays the role of an intelligence officer. The movie is slated to release on January 11.
