Uri: The Surgical Strike, starring Vicky Kaushal as the main man, is on a roll. Going beyond all expectations, estimations and calculations, the war film is wreaking havoc at the box-office. On Republic Day, the film fetched another Rs 9.75 crore. After almost three weekends, its total collection has reached a gigantic Rs 148.18 crore. The war drama is all set to cross the coveted Rs 150 crore mark today.

Furthermore, Taran Adarsh said, "While *most* mid-range films don’t touch ₹ 50 cr [lifetime biz], #UriTheSurgicalStrike has crossed ₹ 50 cr mark in Mumbai and ₹ 25 cr mark in Delhi-UP circuits... Contribution from Mumbai + Delhi-UP circuits is over ₹ 75 cr, which is phenomenal... #HowsTheJosh #Uri".
Uri: The Surgical Strike also has Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Paresh Rawal and Kirti Kulhari in important roles. The film had a strong impact on the domestic box office as well as the overseas market. The Vicky Kaushal starrer has become 2019’s first film to touch the Rs 100 crore mark. It raked in Rs 100 crore in a matter of just 10 days of its release. It’s also Vicky Kaushal’s first Rs 100-crore solo film.
Uri is Yami Gautam’s second 100-crore film after Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil. Talking about the success of the film with India Today, she said, “Very happy with the kind of response that the film has earned and is continuing to have a great run at the box office. I'm very grateful to the team behind the film, everyone has truly worked very hard."
