New Delhi: The year 2016 seems to be jinxed for the couples of tinselvile. So far, several celeb couples have parted their ways. While it started with the break-up of Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif, the trend was followed by Farhan Akhtar-Adhuna, Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma, Malaika Arora-Arbaaz Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput-Ankita Lokhande.
And now we have another couple to add on to the list.
As per the recent buzz, Bigg Boss 8 couple Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna have called it quits.
Yes! It’s true and the news was announced by himself on his Twitter account as he tweeted, “Too much has come to light & shown its true colours. Love is never easy and when a certain foundation is broken it’s impossible to move forward.”
Even Karishma too hinted about their split with a cryptic tweet along with a picture quote. Although none of the two revealed the reason behind their break-up.
Upen and Karishma met while participating in the celebrity reality show Bigg Boss season 8. Their intimate chemistry caught a lot of attention on the show.
The couple later participated in dance base reality show ‘Nach Baliye 7’ where Upen even proposed his lady love on national television and the couple got engaged on the show.
Recently, the much-in-love couple was seen playing ‘love gurus’ for young couples on a show named ‘Love School’ on MTV. It’s a sheer irony that the ones giving love advices to others are themselves not a couple anymore.
It’s been a while that there had been reports about troubles in Upen-Karishma’s paradise. Though the reason behind the couple’s split it still a mystery to be solved, but their fans won’t be much pleased with this news.
