New Delhi: Comedian Upasana Singh, who became a household name with her character of ‘Pinky Bua’ in Comedy Nights with Kapil (CNWK) has quit Colors’ show ‘Comedy Nights Live’, say the media reports.
Her decision of quitting 'Comedy Night Live' has come as a shocker because when Kapil Sharma moved to Sony following his spat with Colors, Upasana Singh aka Bua was the only one to stay back while the entire team of CNWK including the judge Navjot Singh Siddhu had moved to ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
In the absence of Kapil & Team, Krushna Abhiskek and Bharti Singh were asked to run the show and Upasana was quite cool working with them but not anymore.
In conversation with a leading portal, Upasana Singh herself confirmed the news saying,
“Yes, I have quit Comedy Nights Live. I am not shooting for it since last two weeks and don’t wish to go back to Comedy Nights Live.”
She refused to give further information though hinted that something was not right and she might hold a press conference over the matter.
”I might address a press conference next week to talk about it. All I can say at the moment is that few things were not happening right and it will be sorted by Monday,” she added.
Now, this is quite shocking and has revived the memories of the curious case of Shilpa Shinde aka Bhabhi Ji who left the show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pe Hain’ post issues with the producer.
