New Delhi: Amid the chaos and controversy surrounding movie ‘Udta Punjab’, it is being reported that the Shahid Kapoor starrer, which is slated to release on June 17, has already been leaked online.
The censor copy of the movie, which was sent to Central Board of Film Certification, CBFC, has been doing the rounds of Internet. The flick reportedly is leaked in two versions. While one is the full length 2 hrs and 20 minutes, the other is a 40 minutes long controversial footage (the one CBFC wanted to remove) from the film.

Interestingly, the leaked version of the movie also has the urination scene of Shahid Kapoor (Tommy Singh in the movie), which is Bombay High Court had asked the filmmakers to remove.
Udta Punjab row: Punjab NGO files petition in Supreme Court to halt the release
With just two days left for the release of the movie it is indeed a shocking thing for ‘Udta Punjab’ team who have fought a tough fight with CBFC to pass the film without cuts.
Besides, what raises the eyebrows is the fact that the leaked copy is apparently the one which was sent to CBFC for approval as it carries the ‘Censor Board’ stamp.
So far, there is no statement from the producers or star cast on this latest development.
