Veteran actor Vinod Khanna’s ailing picture went viral on social media yesterday. Telly actor Kiran Karmarkar, who played the character of Om in popular TV show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, lashed out at people for posting his ailing picture.
The actor wrote on his Facebook post that people should stop bothering Vinod Khanna by posting his picture adding that he is our Hero.
He wrote, “STOP POSTING VINOD KHANNA'S PHOTOS. Please don't bother him. HE'S OUR HERO. LET HIM BE.”
Yesterday, a picture of the veteran actor from the hospital started doing rounds on social media in which he was looking unrecognisable. It became talk of the town and fans became concerned.
It was being said that the actor was battling cancer. However, doctors today made it clear that Vinod’s health is getting better. The actor’s son Rahul said that he is touched by all good wishes that people are showering on his father.
If reports are to be believed then superstar Salman, who has worked with Vinod in the past, paid a late-night visit to meet the star at the hospital.
Vinod was admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Girgaon, Mumbai.
The 70-year-old actor has featured in films like Mere Apne, Insaaf and Amar, Akbar, Anthony.
