When ‘Tum Bin’ released in 2001, the songs of the movie became an instant hit. The soulful tracks were loved by all and looks like the makers are tapping on the same popularity to gain mileage for the sequel. A teaser to the sequel ‘Tum Bin 2’ was released this afternoon. The makers have called the clip as sneak peek to ‘Koi Fariyaad’ and the background score will send you down a memory lane.
‘Koi Fariyaad’ was originally sung by late singer Jagjit Singh. In the sneak peek to the much loved song, a female lends her voice, with Jagjit Singh’s voice coming in much later. It must be said that by bringing back the heart-breaking number the makers have already made the right start. Also, the breath taking visuals will catch your attention from the first frame.
‘Tum Bin 2’ stars Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati in lead roles. The movie is helmed by Ra. One diector Anubhav Sinha.
As a sign to show his love for his director, superstar Shah Rukh Khan gave a link to the song on his Twitter account. King Khan said that the beautiful song featured beautiful people.
Just like ‘Tum Bin’, Anubhav Sinha wishes to make the album one of a kind. For this he has roped in Akon, Atif Aslam and Ankit Tiwari to create an outstanding album. Akon, is not the only International name who will be a part of the movie. West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo will sing an upbeat number ‘Jager Bomb’ in the movie.
Media reports have it that Ankit Tiwari will compose the song to be crooned by Arif Aslam and it will be shot in a vintage hotel in Mumbai. There are not many details about the Akon number known as of now. However, it is being said that Anubhav is keen on keeping the ‘Tumhare Siwa Kuch’ from the first movie.
With such plans for the album, it won’t be wrong to expect an outstanding album from this movie. A release date for this movie has yet not been finalised.
