Superstar Salman Khan’s latest release Tubelight has crossed Rs 200-crore mark worldwide in 10 days. According to a report in boxofficeindia.com, the movie has achieved the huge number on the tenth day of its release. Tubelight has collected Rs 152 crore till now in India. The film entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in six days. Though, Salman’s film has minted a big amount still there are chances that distributers may face loss because the flick has underperformed.

Salman’s films have always done earth-shattering collections at the box office. Jai Ho was the last film that didn’t perform well at the international box office. Now, it is quite clear from the numbers that Tubelight is not going to be that much grand as Salman’s previous films.

Tubelight opened with Rs 21.15 crore and went on to mint Rs 64.77 crore in its opening weekend.

Previously, Salman’s films, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ready, Bodyguard, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Jai Ho, Kick made their place in the coveted Rs 100 crore club.

Directed by filmmaker Kabir Khan, Tubelight is set against the backdrop of 1962 Sino-Indian War. The film marked the third collaboration of Salman with Kabir. Along with the superstar, Tubelight also featured Sohail Khan, Matin Rey Tangu and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu in pivotal roles.
