It’s been an open truth that the most anticipated Salman Khan film ‘Tubelight’ has not performed up to the mark of box office. Despite being released near Eid festivity, it failed to live up to the hype it created. This Kabir Khan directorial film is an official remake of Hollywood film ‘Little Boy’ filmed with a backdrop of 1962 Indo-China war. It features the superstar Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu along with child actor Matin Rey Tangu from Arunachal Pradesh. Shah Rukh Khan also did a cameo in the film.

Expectations were sky rocketing from this film but the flick failed to live up to the obvious buzz created around the film. Both critics and audience gave tepid response to the movie. On it’s ninth day, it managed to earn Rs. 113 crore at box office, which is not an impressive number when talking about a Salman Khan film.

Salman seems to be unaffected by the disappointing response to the film and is busy working for his upcoming venture ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. But one of the cast of Tubelight is not happy at all. And it is none other than the Chinese actress Zhu Zhu herself. According to reports, the actress is quite disheartened by the low performance of the film. She was planning to visit India after the film’s release. But now she has  cancelled her trip to India.
