Superstar Salman Khan and actress Katrina Kaif’s latest release Tiger Zinda Hai is doing wonders at the box office. The film collected Rs 34 crore on its opening and then continued its golden run on Saturday and Sunday. According to early estimates, the film has raked in nearly Rs 40 crore on Christmas and has reportedly entered the Rs 150 crore club. It seems that Bhaijaan’s film is going to break many records.
Tiger Zinda Hai earned Rs 34 crores on its opening day. It collected Rs 35.35 crores on Saturday and Rs 45.50 crores on Sunday. If the reports turn out to be true, then Tiger Zinda Hai will become the fastest film to cross Rs 150 crore mark beating Salman’s another film Sultan that took five days to enter the club.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. The movie featured the famous jodi of Salman and Katrina after a long gap. The film has some high-octane action sequences and it is surely going to set benchmarks for all upcoming films.
On a related note, Salman is occupied with the work of his upcoming film Race 3 whereas Katrina will next be seen in Anand L Rai’s untitled project alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma and Thugs of Hindostan alongside Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
