On the other hand, he has also been winning a lot of appreciation for his dancing skills and dashing looks.
While Tiger was enjoying all the attention, there were reports that he has been roped in for the remake of the hit 1993 action-thriller ‘Khalnayak’. There had been a lot of buzz around the film ever since Ghai first announced it in 2013.
In fact, there were reports about director Sanjay Leela Bhansali acquiring the remake rights and planning to cast Ranveer Singh, but he eventually dropped it.
But producer Subash Ghai has quashed all the reports of Tiger Shroff doing ‘Khalnayak’ remake.
He released a statement, saying “We haven’t signed Tiger Shroff as it is being rumoured. We are still waiting to complete the script and will take a call only after that. I know there is a lot of excitement about the project and the script is amazing”.
‘Khalnayak’ talked about the escape and attempted capture of a terrorist criminal Ballu (played by Sanjay Dutt) by Inspector Ram (Jackie) and his girlfriend officer Ganga (Madhuri Dixit).
