Veteran actor Jackie Shroff has refuted the reports of his son Tiger’s breakup with his rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani.
The reports of breakup between actor Tiger Shroff and his rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani surfaced lately leaving everyone one shocked. It was earlier reported that it was Tiger’s mother Ayesha who persuaded the couple to call it quits.
Apparently, Ayesha wasn’t comfortable with Tiger’s growing proximity with Disha and hence asked the latter to keep distance from her son.
But Jackie has come out in support of his wife saying they are unfazed by what people are commenting about them and that they have no issues with Tiger and Disha’s relationship.
He further mentioned that Disha and Tiger haven’t parted ways and urged everyone not to hamper their friendship with baseless rumours.
“Disha and Tiger are friends and we’re cool with it. Let them be, please!”, Jackie Shroff told a leading entertainment portal.
Interestingly, Tiger and Disha, who have been said to be dating for a while now, have never accepted their relationship publicly.
The two have always maintained the ‘just friends’ stance. In fact, Tiger had also once asserted that Disha is too cool for him to have as a girlfiriend.
However, despite repeated denials, the reports of their love affair have been rife. Thanks to their Instagram posts.
The couple was recently spotted on a family vacation to a mysterious destination along with their respective families. Tiger and Disha, who have been trying their best to keep the love affair under the wraps, were caught red handed, after the two posted similar pictures of themselves clicked at the same place.
In fact, the rumoured couple is also spotted hanging out together quite often these days.
If media reports are to be believed, Tiger and Disha might soon be seen romancing each other on the silver screen in the much-awaited sequel of Karan Johar’s 2012 release ‘Student Of The Year’.
The two have already won appreciation for their on-screen chemistry in the single track ‘Befikra’ and their fans are longing to see them together once again. However, no official announcement has yet been made about the cast of ‘Student Of The Year 2’.
