New Delhi: Every time a new comer delivers a huge hit and becomes a rising star, he soon starts getting compares with his senior actors.
When Ranveer Singh’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ did wonders at the box office, he was compared to the Khan trio – Salman, Aamir and Shah Rukh by the critics.
And now the latest target of critics is Tiger Shroff, whose recent release ‘Baaghi’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor is minting crores at the box office.
Though, Tiger is just two movies old in the industry, but he has created a huge fan base for himself.
The ‘Heropanti’ actor is highly adored for his dancing skills and always manages to amaze everyone with his action sequences. With the amazing talent of dance and stunts, Tiger is reportedly being compared to Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan.
In fact, he is even referred to as the new ‘khiladi’ of Bollywood, a title which has been owned by Akki so far.
But when Tiger Shroff was quizzed about these comparisons, he stated that he should not be labelled next to Hrithik or Akshay as it is insulting for them.
“Akshay sir and Hrithik sir are legends in this field. It’s really flattering for me, but I’d rather not be labelled the next Hrithik or the next Akshay coz it’s insulting to them. They have done so much body of work, then how can you call a newcomer, a next this or next that. Can’t be na? It’s not respecting them. But yeah, big fans of both of them and it is a very big compliment,” Tiger told an entertainment portal.
Currently, Tiger Shroff is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie ‘A Flying Jatt’ which is slated to hit the screens on August 25.
