Aamir Khan and team are raising the excitement level as they drop one motion poster every day for Thugs of Hindostan. So far, we’ve met Khuda Baksh (Amitabh Bachchan), Zafira (Fatima Sana Shaikh) and John Clive (Lloyd Owen) as the crucial parts of the film. On Friday, Aamir Khan finally raised the curtain from Katrina Kaif’s character Suraiyya Jaan from the film. Sharing the fourth motion poster, the superstar wrote, “सुरैया जान.... सबसे खूबसूरत ठग ! धूम ३ के वक़्त से मेरा दिल इनपे आया हुआ है... पर कहने की हिम्मत कभी नहीं हुई. कोई अगर इन्हें ये बता दे तो बड़ी मेहेरबानी होगी”
In the caption, Aamir Khan playfully said that he has his eyes set on Katrina Kaif since Dhoom 3 but he never had the courage to express his feelings to her. He even asks his fans to convey this message to the actress.
In the poster, Katrina Kaif is giving Kaala Chashma throwback in the picture. She’s wearing a thigh-slit lehenga with a petite choli. Her hair are left open flying with the wind, adding charm to the poster. Her hands her placed in an ‘Aadab’ (Salutation) gesture.
On Thursday, Thugs of Hindostan’s antagonist John Clive was introduced. If his name suggests anything, he’s playing a British officer in the film. In the poster, he’s seen sitting on his throne, commanding authority with his piercing eyes. The role is played by British actor Lloyd Owen.
Fatima Sana Shaikh looked menacing as Zafira in the second motion poster. She’s seen aiming at her target with a traditional bow and arrow. Going by her looks, the Dangal girl is playing a meticulous archer and of course, a Thug in the film.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan is barely recognisable as Khuda Baksh in Thugs of Hindostan. His was the first motion poster to be unveiled by the team. He is dressed in heavy armour and is carrying a sword in his hands. His foot is set firmly on a canon while an eagle is perched on its neck.
Thugs of Hindostan is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. It stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. It is releasing on Diwali this year.
