On Sunday, Katrina indulged in the famous Question-Answer feature of the Instagram and when one fan asked about Thugs of Hindostan trailer release date, she said September 27. While fans can’t wait for the trailer, it is interesting to know that September 27 also marks the birth anniversary of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra.

Looks like Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan wants to pay tribute to the iconic filmmaker by unveiling the trailer of YRF’s biggest project on Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary. According to the reports in Pinkvilla, a source close to the development of the film stated, "Thugs of Hindostan is an incredibly special film for Adi. It is not only YRF’s biggest production, but it is also the biggest film of the Indian film industry. Thugs is a visionary project. It is going to be a stand out product in terms of scale and imagination. It will match the visual scale of any big-ticket Hollywood film that audiences have seen. Yash Chopra is a legend whose films and imagination shaped Bollywood as it stands today. He was a path-breaker, content disruptor and a true innovator. So, Adi and Aamir discussed and decided to release the trailer on the birth anniversary of the iconic filmmaker, Yash Chopra. It is a salute to his genius vision."

Considering how minutely Mr. Khan depicts the details of his characters, there is already a lot of buzz around his look in the movie. It was learned that Aamir has got his ears and nose pierced and we all have seen him in long hair and big mustache. Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh’s look are already out and fans are in love with them.
