Have you heard the Judwaa 2 Tan Tana Tan song featuring Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline? The revisited version of Salman Khan's 1997 hit song with the same name not only looked fabulous but also created a trend on the internet? But, do you know that the original song had a line “Govinda hai mera hero aur Madhuri hai heroine”? This line wasn’t there in the new Tan Tana Tan song version. Now, buzz has it that filmmaker David Dhawan decided not to keep Govinda’s name in the new song due to the recent fallout with the veteran actor.
Govinda’s name was omitted in Judwaa 2 Tan Tana Tan song as due to the actor’s fallout with director David Dhawan and his verbal attacks on Varun Dhawan, according to a report in Mid-day.
Govinda and David have delivered a total of 17 commercially successful films together. However, their relationship between them soured when Govinda commented on the director’s son and actor Varun Dhawan.
“How can he (Varun) be like me? To become Govinda, he needs to be innocent, uneducated and a poor village boy. Varun is already a son of a director. In the last six years, he hasn’t done more than two films with his father, whereas I did 17 films with his father”, Govinda was quoted as saying to a leading daily.
On a related note. Judwaa 2 stars Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez. Directed by David Dhawan, the film will see the Badrinath Ki Dulhania actor playing double roles- Raja and Prem. Judwaa 2 is slated to release on September 29.
