Our Captain Cool's biopic released last week and is running successfully in theatres, with the lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput managing to impress critics and the audiences alike.
Not only the story, Sushant’s depiction of Dhoni in the film is also making fans go crazy over Sushant.
As per media report, when his ex-girlfriend, Ankita watched the film, she was very happy and expressed her liking for the movie by calling him and praising him for his brilliant performance in 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'.
At the time when Sushant was working on the film, the former love birds were dating each other.
The 'Pavitra Rishta' actress knows all the hard work and sweat Sushant has put into the film to get into the character and bring out best.
“It’s always tough for an ex to pick up the phone and praise the other person, but Ankita and Sushant have always maintained a cordial relationship post their break-up without resorting to ugliness and name-calling," a source told DNA.
It further added, "Sushant had started working in MSD when they were still together and Ankita knew the hard work and sweat Sushant has put into the film. So, when she watched the film with her friends, she was one of the first to call him and praise him for his performance."
Sushant and Ankita break up was one of the most shocking splits. The couple parted ways a few months back. The former couple was together for more than five years. They met on the sets of their TV show Pavitra Rishta, and after which they went on dating each other.
