Bollywood veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was recently offered a role in the sequel of the Pakistani hit comedy film 'Jawani Phir Nahi Ani'. This was revealed at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, where Rishi Kapoor himself confirmed it.
As per Hindustan Times report, “He was approached for a major role in the sequel to a Pakistani comedy called Jawani Phir Nai Ani (2015). Film-maker Nadeem Baig has directed it. However, he politely turned down the offer."
Following his refusal, Kapoor also gave an interesting advise to the Pakistani director. He told the director, "that instead of casting an Indian actor in a Pakistani film, he should focus on getting Pakistani movies more prominence in India.
If Indian films can work in Pakistan, then Pakistani movies, too, can have an impact on the audience in India." he added.
All we can say is that Mr Kapoor is not like most actors. His most appealing quality is his candidness. He was last seen in Shakun Batra's 'Kapoor & Sons' and his acting was highly appreciated . And the movie was a Box Office success.
