Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who is busy with upcoming movie ‘Dear Zindagi’, has admitted that the movie had much of a positive impact on her personal life.

During a recent interview, Alia asserted that working in ‘Dear Zindagi’ has helped her improver terms with her family as she has become a lot more expressive now.

The bubbly actress further stated that while she learns a new thing with every movie of hers, it was ‘Dear Zindagi’ that bought her even more close to her family.

“I just feel grateful that my parents are healthy, alive and such amazing individuals. I try to make most of the time with them”, Alia said.

Besides, Bhatt has also lauded the director of ‘Dear Zindagi’ Gauri Shinde, and cited her as a genius.

Singing praises for Gauri, Alia stated that she is a unique human being  and that she loves her working style.

“The way she thinks is the way her writing translates. I believe she is a genius”, Alia added.

‘Dear Zindagi’ will also star Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Interestingly, this the first time Alia is sharing the screen space with SRK and she is ecstatic about it.

The movie is a slice-of-life film with Alia playing the protagonist, an aspiring filmmaker, who is on the lookout for a lot of unanswered questions. The film also features Shah Rukh Khan, Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi.

‘Dear Zindagi’ is slated to hit the screens on November 25.
