On the professional front, Alia completed the shooting of the film Raazi. The film stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role along with her. Directed by Meghna Gulzar it is based on Harinder Sikka's best-selling novel Calling Sehmat. Raazi is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
She will be working with Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. The film is a biopic inspired by the lives of two rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy.
