The news of South sensation Dulquer Salmaan sharing screen with North sensation Sonam Kapoor has got us excited. Both the actors have collaborated for the screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s best-selling novel The Zoya Factor.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma and written by Neha Rakesh Sharma and Pradhuman Singh, the film is slated to release on April 5, the makers announced today.
While the film is yet to go on floors, Hindi film actor Sonam Kapoor and Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan have done a photoshoot for the movie that will leave movie buffs across the country excited.
PadMan star Sonam Kapoor took to Twitter to share a photo in which she along with Dulquer holding and peeking out from behind the eponymous novel by Anuja Chauhan, on which the film is based.
Bankrolled by Fox Star Studios, the love story will hit the theatres next year on April 5. “Super happy to be a part of this unique story #ZoyaFactor an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s bestseller. Dulquer Salmaan also took to Instagram and shared the photo with the caption, “Now this one is really special for me! Introducing #ZoyaFactor a movie based on Anuja Chauhan’s bestseller. Releasing on April 5, 2019! Co-starring @sonamakapoor, directed by #AbhishekSharma. #AdlabsFilms @foxstarhindi.”
The Zoya Factor stars Salmaan as Indian cricket captain Nikhil Khoda and Sonam Kapoor as Zoya Singh, an advertising agent who ends up being a lucky charm for Nikhil and his team. This is Salmaan and Kapoor’s first film together.
On a related note, Dulquer Salmaan, the hit churning machine from Kerala, will set his foot in Bollywood with Ronnie Screwala’s Karwaan, which also stars Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. After Karwaan, the actor will be seen in Abhishek Sharma directorial The Zoya Factor.
