The battle of the comedians Kapil Sharma Vs Sunil Grover always makes huge headlines. While The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) is suffering owing to low TRP rating. Sunil aka Dr Mashoor Gulati has increased his fees, fresh reports suggest. The Coffee With D actor seems to have played his bets well especially when TKSS shooting gets cancelled now and then owing to Kapil’s ill health. Earlier Sunil Grover used to charge Rs 7-8 lakhs per episode but now, the comedian has doubled his fees to Rs 13-14 lakhs per episode, according to a report in DNA.
“Sunil has been getting some really good offers for shows but he’s focussing on guest appearances and stage shows. Sunil was previously charging Rs 7-8 lakhs per episode on Kapil’s show. Now, he charges around Rs 13-14 lakh per appearance”, a source was quoted as saying to the daily.

This latest buzz has come right after The Kapil Sharma Show has dropped from the Top 10 show list according to this week’s BARC report. The TRP of TKSS slipped to no. 14 this week. After SRK left TKSS without shooting because of Kapil illness, another such incident happened when the star cast of Mubarakan couldn’t shoot for the episode after waiting for almost four hours. Rumours started doing rounds that Kapil is battling depression. However, Kiku has now made things clear and this is surely a great news for all TKSS fans.
Recently, it was reported that Kapil’s fees have been cut by half for TKSS. Due to lack of good ratings following the exit of Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar aka Pushpa Nani from TKSS, the ace comedian has taken a cut in his remuneration. Kapil Sharma and Sony TV have mutually decided to renegotiate his payments, which has been cut by almost half now, as per a source.
Well, it seems that at a time when Kapil Sharma is cutting his fees to half, Sunil Grover is doubling his charges.
