In response to the 10-year sentence given to Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, comedian Kiku Sharda expressed his reaction on social media. Known for his popular character, Bumper in The Kapil Sharma Show, the actor faced legal trouble for mimicking the self-styled godman in a comedy show. In January, Kiku was sent to 14 days of judicial custody. Upon his arrest, he apologized and said he “presented the programme on the directions of the channel and programme producers”. Now, after Ram Rahim’s sentencing Kiku Sharda took to Twitter.

Tagging actress-author Twinkle Khanna and his wife Priyanka Sharda, the comedian-actor wrote, “Enjoying a peaceful Chinese meal with no monosodium glutamate @mrsfunnybones @priyankasharda3”.

Twinkle wrote he should in a column titled "When the Love Charger ran out of battery." She noted his post and responded with one of her own: "And life moves on with its tongue firmly in its cheek." See the exchange between Twinkle Khanna and Kiku Sharda.

In her new blog, Mr Funnybones has taken a hilarious jibe at Ram Rahim and the ongoing protests in support of the self-acclaimed God man. The blog titled ‘When the Love Charger ran out of battery’ gives a sneak peek of Twinkle Khanna’s witty views on the burning issue.

Akshay Kumar’s witty wife ended her blog with a note for Kiku who, Twinkle wrote, "should immediately go to the nearest Chinese restaurant to celebrate, order a beer and tell the waiter, 'I don't want any monosodium glutamate in my Schezwan chicken, you people should lock away your MSG too."
