The Accidental Prime Minister Trailer: It’s hard to differentiate Anupam Kher from former PM Manmohan Singh
Anupam Kher has been making headlines ever since he shared the first glimpse of his upcoming film The Accidental Prime Minister. In the film, he’s playing the role of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The actor has gone through tremendous transformation, not only in looks but also in body language, to nail his character on screen and the mission can be said already successful. In the trailer, Anupam Kher has perfected how Dr Manmohan Singh walk and talk, to such an extent that it is difficult to differentiate one from another.
The Accidental Prime Minister is based on Sanjay Baru’s book which goes by the same name. The film which was earlier scheduled to release on December 21, clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. It was pushed further to January 11 for obvious reasons to avert the clash. The film also features Akshaye Khanna and Aahana Kumra in important roles.
Apart from this, Anupam Kher is also featuring in an American medical drama New Amsterdam which airs on NBC. He’s playing the role of senior doctor Vijay Kapoor in the American TV series.
