New Delhi: AIB member Tanmay Bhat is the hot topic of discussion these days. All thanks to his recent snapchat video. The comedian sparked a controversy after he made a video targeting legends Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar.
Tanmay used a faceswap tool in the video and mocked the celebs. He even used some vulgar words which has lead to an outrage amongst the audience.
He has been receiving flak from celebs to commoners. And now this controversial video will soon be landing him in a legal scoop.
Cricketer Vinod Kambli is planning to sue the comedian with a defamation case.
Vinod is apparently enraged by the video for insulting the legends. In fact, Bhat’s video also features a reference of ths cricketer where Lataji is seen telling Sachin that she prefers Vinod.
Kambli took it to Twitter to express his anger and tweeted, "Friend I felt deeply hurt when that man made fun of Lata mangeshkar. She is a like mother to us n he made fun of SRT2. I've spoken to my lawyer about defamation case.That guy spoken bad and use filthy language abt me also."
Earlier, MNS had also lodged complaints against Tanmay for the "highly objectionable content" of the video.
We wonder how Tanmay Bhat is planning to deal with this mess he has created.
