New Delhi: It is not being easy a single mother but then not everyone is Sushmita Sen. Though unmarried Sushmita is changing the way people look at motherhood. She has given a great deal of time in raising her adopted daughters Renee and Alisah.
Recently, at the annual function of her younger daughter Sushmita made a speech which garnered claps. In her speech, she urged daughters to carve their own path and not think much about the norms set by the society.
The ‘Main Hoon Naa’ actress said something on the same lines to her daughter Renee, three years ago. Sushmita shared a picture on Instagram, of a letter she wrote to Renee when she was going to the boarding school.
In the heartfelt letter, Sushmita had told Renee that she was born from her mother’s heart.
Susmita wrote on her Instagram account, “we #mothers can really run out of #pages when #writing to our #children ???? this card was given to #renée as she began her journey in a #boardingschool #2013 she says..either allow me to join #instagram or post it on yours?? #sharing #loveletter #daughterschoice.”
