Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has played down the reports claiming that he refused to dance on a reality show where he went to promote his upcoming film 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'.
The 30-year old actor said that these things are decided by the movie's production house.
He was recently on the set of celebrity dance show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' to promote the film, based on the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
There were reports that Sushant threw tantrums and even asked the show's team to not mention he started his career as a TV actor and was also a contestant on one of its previous seasons.
However, Sushant slammed the reports on his micro blogging account and tweeted.
"I am extremely proud to be an actor irrespective of the medium and also of my past. So stop these bullshit stories. "What an actor does on a reality show is decided by the studio for the film. I have worked in theatre, tv and films and I don't differentiate," he added.
Interestingly, the actor shot to fame after starring in Balaji Telefilms show 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' in 2008 and later became a small screen star with 'Pavitra Rishta' (2009). He quit television in 2011 to make foray into films.
His first Bollywood movie 'Kai Po Che!' released in 2013. The actor has also been seen in films like 'Shuddh Desi Romance', 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' and 'Pk'.
'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', directed by Neeraj Pandey, will hit theatres on September 30. Post that, he will be seen in ‘Raabta’ alongside actress Kriti Sanon.
